About
Welcome to Puerto de Lorbe, a hidden gem nestled on the scenic shores of A Coruña, Spain. This charming eatery is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of the rich culinary heritage of Galicia. You’ll find it located at Carretera acceso al puerto de lorbe s/n, 15177 lorbe - oleiros, perfectly positioned to capture the essence of fresh seafood that the region is known for.
At Puerto de Lorbe, the emphasis is on quality over pretense. It may not boast a flashy ambiance, as highlighted by customer Daniele Adreani, who notes that “if you want a restaurant with a fantastic ambient, this is not your restaurant.” However, what it lacks in decor, it more than makes up for in the quality of its dishes. With a focus on fresh, simple, and generous portions, you can expect to enjoy the true tastes of the sea, as Jennifer H. praises with regard to her memorable visits.
Every visit to Puerto de Lorbe feels like a homecoming. Whether it's a free portion of tortilla gifted by the staff or a stunning platter of seafood enjoyed with loved ones, the atmosphere here is decidedly warm and inviting. Amanda Gainsford captures this sentiment perfectly as she lists Puerto de Lorbe among her favorite dining spots in Galicia.
Overall, Puerto de Lorbe is emblematic of what true Galician dining should be. It's about good food, good friends, and a laid-back vibe that encourages you to linger at the table, soaking in both the flavors and the views. The next time you find yourself in A Coruña, make this restaurant a priority on your culinary adventure.
“ If you want a restaurant with a fantastic ambient this is not your restaurant, but if you want eat good fish you are arrived in the correct restaurant ”
“ Delicious fresh food, simple, tasty and generous portions. Visited a second time and was treated to a free portion of tortilla :-) ”
“ The best seafood I have ever eaten in a quaint small port setting. Also the lowest price I have ever paid. Excellent, friendly service. ”
“ Fantastic food, beautiful views across a lovely bay ”
“ My wife and I have been here several times and keep going back because of the quality and taste of the seafood. The service is very good and servers are helpful but, as is frequently the case in Spain, are covering a lot of tables. Regardless, they provide excellent service. I appreciate that they bring each dish out over time so that you can savor each one. The almejas a la marinera are by far my favorite. Most recently we were here in mid-August and it was packed. That leads to my slight ding on atmosphere because the top floor was pretty loud. The views are wonderful! ”
